It is the 10th year of the Trojan war. Ever since Achilles withdrew his troops in fit of rage, the Trojans have had the upper hand. In a desperate act to make his companion see sense, Patroclus begs Achilles to let him lead the men and win glory for the Greek army.. with tragic consequences.

Staged in total darkness, Sound&Fury’s first show had five actors using overhead ropes to navigate the space and tell the story. With high-tech surround sound design, scenes shifted from the Gods on Mount Olympus to the battle plains of Troy with speed and stunning cinematic clarity played out in the mind’s eye.

This highly imaginative and visceral work sold out for the Playing in the Dark season at BAC, for which it was commissioned, and was later restaged in Bristol again to sell-out audiences and critical acclaim.
